Shir Tikvah Synagogue to Celebrate 25 Years in May

A festive weekend is planned for May 24 and 25.

Editor's Note: The following is a Shir Tikvah press release.

Shir Tikvah, a progressive Reform congregation, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this May. During a festive weekend on May 24 and 25, the congregation will welcome back Rabbi Stacy K. Offner, Shir Tikvah’s founding rabbi emerita, and Rabbi Rick Jacobs, president of the Union for Reform Judaism, and other distinguished guests.

“We welcome all to come and celebrate Shir Tikvah’s first 25 years and the enduring values that guide us forward,” remarked Shir Tikvah’s senior rabbi, Michael Adam Latz. “The weekend’s events will lift up Shir Tikvah’s mission and vision for a dynamic Judaism in which the active practice of inclusivity, radical hospitality, prayer, and Torah learning can lead to a more just and peaceful world.”
