UPDATE: Puppy Goes Missing in St. Michael, Found Monday

The 11-month-old pit bull and shephard mix went missing from the dog park.

UPDATE, 10:10 p.m.: According to a community member's comments on St. Michael Patch's Facebook page, Stella was found Monday afternoon.

An 11-month-old puppy went missing Dec. 21 in St. Michael, and was later sighted that day in the Highwoods neighborhood.

The puppy, "Stella" is still missing, and owner Traci Sinclair is asking for the public's help in finding her.

The dog is a mix of pit bull and shephard coat is brown and black, with a white patch on her chest and neck. She has white "socks" on her front feet, and the tip of her tail is white. She weighs about 44 pounds, and stands about 20 to 22 inches at the shoulder.

She went missing from the St. Michael dog park Friday around 11:45 a.m. and was seen around 12:30 p.m. at Mason Avenue NE and Frankfort Parkway.

"She is usually a sweet, friendly puppy; but she is scared and may growl or bark when approached," Sinclair wrote to St. Michael Patch. "She is not known to be aggressive or to bite."

Stella is wearing a pink and black Kong collar with tags, Sinclair added.

"If you see her, please call her by name," Sinclair wrote. "She is very food/treat motivated, and this may keep her in one place until I can get there."

If Stella runs, Sinclair said, do not chase her, but instead, call Sinclair at 763-257-5615 with the location of the sighting.
