(UPDATED) Linden Corner Traffic Study Released

Study projects current traffic infrastructure will not be overwhelmed.

A privately-commissioned traffic study for the Linden Corners development was posted on the development group's website last night. The study concludes that existing traffic infrastructure can accommodate the estimated 446 daily trips to and from the development site at 43rd St. and Upton Ave. South. The highest number of trips would likely occur between 7 and 9 a.m. and 4 and 6 p.m. The weekday peak hour maximum is estimated to be 50 cars in the morning and 65 cars in the evening.  The development would have large numbers of underground parking spaces, according to the developer.
