Help Clean Up Minnehaha Creek

The goal is to remove two tons of trash from the Creek.

The Minnehaha Creek Wastershed District is asking for volunteers to help at the 5th annual Minnehaha Creek Clean-up on July 10.

The first 250 volunteers in the morning will receive a bagel breakfast.Volunteers will then be bused to other parts of the creek for clean-up, then return to Lake Hiawatha for a barbacue hosted by Leinenkugels (beer will be available for those with an ID).

The goal is to gather 4,000 pounds of trash, according to the watershed district.
