October 23rd Community Vote on Linden Hills Small Area Plan

The Linden Hills Neighborhood Council (LHiNC) encourages Linden Hills residents to vote on whether to reallocate Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) funds to develop a Small Area Plan that includes the commercial nodes at 43rd & Upton and 44th & France, the 44th Street corridor that connects these nodes, and portions of France Avenue. The community vote will be held at the Linden Hills Park building on Tuesday, Oct. 23, where residents can obtain and cast their votes between 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A Community Open House was held Sept. 23 to inform Linden Hills residents about the Small Area Plan and reallocation of NRP funds for this purpose. Information provided at the Open House can be accessed from the LHiNC website: www.lindenhills.org, and by calling Brian Schaffer, Southwest Area Sector Planner from the City of Minneapolis Community Planning & Economic Development (CPED) department at 612-673-2670.
