Owl Attacking Lake Harriet & Minnehaha Pkwy

This summer I've noticed the beautiful owls down by the creek and Harriet down 48th street. I was walking down Humbolt at dusk and an owl swooped and grabbed my head from behind. Had no idea what happened until I hung out and saw 2 of them way up in the trees. Then the bigger one came at me again and I got out of there. I read that they can be attracted to ponytails? Maybe he thought I was a squirrel. Regardless, people should be careful in that area at dusk.
