 op music heros. I have very diverse influences\; envision Roger Miller a
 nd Lefty Frizzell&rsquo\;s love child listening to Chuck Berry\, Buffalo
  Springfield\, Blind Blake\, Muddy Waters\, Spade Cooley... and Merle Tr
 avis on the radio while Richard and Mimi Fari&ntilde\;a babysit. I've be
 en mostly associated with acoustic music as a long time member and co-fo
 under of the Bluegrass/Americana group "The Prairie Wheels" which includ
 ed George Rothenberger and Russ Rayfield as core members. Associated wit
 h The Wheels at various times were Janine Kemmer\, Kitty Gunn\, Dave Tou
 sley\, Steve Howard and Mark Brier on bass\, and Rick Anderson on guitar
  and banjo. Before focusing on acoustic sound I played guitar with "Lake
  Street Legend" a cover band that embraced the sound of the early Stones
  with emphasis on blues\, soul and Motown.
