The season of Lent is a time in the church year that we prepare for Holy Week and the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is time set apart for introspection and to change our daily habits to better connect with our sprituality and our God. Although people do this in a variety of ways individually, we would like to invite you to experience a special midweek family worship service - Holden Evening Prayer. Lay leaders will share how they have encountered God in their own lives each week and we will worship through song and praise. Please join, all are welcome.

More About Richfield United Methodist Church
This church's presence in the community pre-dates the area's annexation into Minneapolis, which is why it retains the name Richfield in its title. But the church is utterly modern, both by embracing cultural diversity, through a worship service in Vietnamese, and through the church's welcoming approach to all people, including gay and lesbian community members. The church also has groups on environmental issues, spirituality, as well as social projects in and outside the community.
