 cey Lijewski is an Environmentalist at Hennepin County Department of Env
 ironmental Services.&nbsp\; For nine years she has been implementing the
  Wetland Conservation Act\, a law passed in 1991 to protect and maintain
  Minnesota&rsquo\;s wetlands.&nbsp\; She works with businesses\, organiz
 ations\, cities and landowners to minimize the impact that development p
 rojects have&nbsp\; wetlands.&nbsp\; She writes restoration orders to re
 store or mitigate impacts on wetlands in cases where violations have occ
 urred.&nbsp\; She will facilitate our watershed game.\nThrough the NEMO 
 Watershed Game\, the participant learns what a watershed is\, how it wor
 ks\, and how Local Government Units work together to provide environment
 al protection to our resources including ponds\, wetlands\, streams\, la
 kes and rivers.&nbsp\; This Interactive learning tool demonstrates the i
 mpacts that land use decisions have on natural resources and educates in
 dividuals about best management practices (BMPs) that are used to achiev
 e clean water.&nbsp\;\nWelcome to members and all interested citizens.
