The Zapotec panel is one of 10 four foot by four foot mosaics that will be installed at Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. Southwest Senior Center and Kingfield Neighborhood Association are coordinating the project, which is funded by the City of Minneapolis through the Innovative Anti-Graffiti Micro Grant and a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
