Who'll Be Selling At Linden Hills Farmers Market?

The market opens Sunday June 3.

Another farmers market is coming to Linden Hills. And boy, does it look tasty!

celebrity chef, Steven Brown, has been leading the charge, promising a showcase of "the exceptional, beautiful, and unique goods these wonderfully industrious and creative people(..)grow and create." Mark Settergren, of , will be playing host with his parking lot.

“We want to embrace the wonderful sense of community in Linden Hills while providing quality farmers and artisans an opportunity to reach a customer base that truly supports the hard work and ethos these people embody,” Brown said in a statement sent to Patch. “We also believe any event that brings friends and neighbors together is a positive one that will enhance our community.

Keep on the look-out for garden demos, weekly music, cooking for kids, face painting and crafts—judging by the tone of their launch announcement, it almost sounds like this market is aiming to rival the Kingfield market in the variety and excitement on offer each week. A portion of the market's proceeds will go to Project Homeless Connect.
