Visions For Vacancies: Yeti Records

Yeti is becoming a mobile record store. What should go in their place?

Yeti Records, the popular Lyndale record store, is closing.

The store announced on their Facebook page and Tumblr that for personal reasons, owners Jake and Lisa Luck are transforming a small truck into a "gnarly mobile shop that we can take out to street fairs and that sort of thing."

However, all that is dependent on the Lucks' ability to find someone to take over their lease. So, readers, what should take Yeti's place? Who would you want to see take it over?

If you feel so moved, you could even draw a picture of what you want to see, and upload it here.

Coffee or tea shop? Self-service dog grooming? Tacos? I don't really care as long as it is independently owned and isn't a drug front.

I like the "self-service dog grooming" idea—it brings a Loony Toons-style machine covered in white-gloved robot hands to mind.

At least, I think that's how more self-service dog grooming places should work!

Awe I wish I had the money to start up my own grooming shop. Would love to go out on my own!
