Soon, your summertime wait for a table at Linden Hills' famous Tilia restaurant could get a bit shorter.
Assuming a Minneapolis City Council committee approves its application on next Monday, July 9, the eatery will add 10 tables, for a total of 30 additional seats in the alleyway between its building and the Old Firehouse building next door housing TEA2 architects and the Harriet Brasserie. Harriet Brasserie already has a small patio built into the front of its facade.
The patio would be open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 9:00a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Linden Hills residents will get a chance to weigh in on the proposal at the July 9 meeting of the Regulatory, Energy and Environment committee at 1:30 p.m.
What do you think of Tilia's plans?
