Section of Eastbound I-494 Closes Friday
Crews will be working to repave the roadway over the weekend.
Motorists will experience delays and detours on eastbound Interstate 494 beginning Friday, Oct. 26 as crews work to repave the roadway.
All lanes between Highway 77 and 24th Avenue will close at 10 p.m. Friday and will likely reopen by 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28.
According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, motorists are advised to detour to northbound Highway 77 to eastbound Highway 62 and southbound Highway 5. Detour signage will be posted.
The repavement is part of the I-494 Improvement Project.
