Stay away from Minnehaha Parkway on Sunday.

That's because it's being taken over by "Women Run The Cities," a charity 10-kilometer road race and walk. The event runs from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Racers are raising money for the Ann Bancroft Foundation. According to the race's website, the foundation gives money to the "Dare to Dream" program, which provides micro-grants to 6th through 10th grade girls looking to achieve "a dream." The foundation also funds the annual Dream Maker Awards that recognize people and organizations that help young women realize their potential.
