Kingfield residents turned out Saturday for "Celebrate 38th," an anual festival along 38th Street organized by the Kingfield Neighborhood Association. Shop keepers set out booths, a Brazillian band played, and residents (and their dogs) paraded up and down the street, celebrating community. Southwest Minneapolis Patch had our own stand in front of Peter Pan Dry Cleaners, taking the portraits of willing passers-by.
