Lynnhurst's new Sparrow Cafe has a lot to offer. Maple-bacon doughnuts and other locally-made pastries. Organic, fair trade house blend coffee. Friendly staff and owners.

But there's one other thing visitors can stop by and see: a giant mural done by Minneapolis graffiti artists Broken Crow. (Disclosure: Co-owner Jasper Rajendren gave me a maple-bacon doughnut to try while I was taking photos. However, that did not influence my decision to photograph said pastry)

Tried this place out. Good coffee and what I ordered was good but they can be a tad bit friendlier. They were nice but not overly appreciative of the early morning business I thought. They should be greeting everyone warmly and be gratefully explaining they have WiFi, etc. I will try it one more TW before I make up my mind fully but the parking is tough and most people that came in were expecting a full breakfast so it may be a tough go at it. Many other businesses have not made it in that location.
