Feb. 22
A 35-year old Lyndale neighborhood resident told police that someone she knew was sending her threatening text messages. Police classified the messages as a domestic incident.
Police received a report that a vulnerable adult living at Walker Methodist Health Center had unspecified items stolen from them on Feb. 20.
Police cited a 33-year old Loring Park man for narcotics violations after pulling him over at the intersection of West 40th Street and Wentworth Ave South around 9 p.m.
Feb. 23
While on patrol around midnight at the intersection of Lyndale Ave South and West 55th Street, officers cited a 17-year old girl for being out past curfew.
Police pulled a driver over at corner of Bryant Ave South and West 33rd Street just after 2 a.m., after checks on the car's license plate showed its owner had an outstanding warrant from Scott County. The man was booked into the Hennepin County Jail.
Burglars broke into a vacant, for-sale, single-family home on the 3100 block of Pillsbury Ave South overnight and stole copper piping.
A 47-year old homeless man was cited for trespassing in a vacant house on the 3500 block of 1st Ave South to sleep.
Around 9:30, police received a reported stabbing at a residence on the 5800 block of Nicollet Ave South. When police arrived, they found a 41-year old man with a cut on his left index finger and several bruises on his face. The man's girlfriend's daughter's boyfriend is the prime suspect, according to police.
A 20-year old man had his driver's license stolen around 5 p.m. on the 3300 block of Blaisdell Ave South.
Feb. 24
Shortly before 2 a.m., police cited a 25-year old man living on the 200 block of West 33rd street for hosting an excessively noisy party.
Feb. 25
A known—but unnamed—suspect stole 2 televisions from an apartment on the 3200 block of Blaisdell Ave South.
A 52-year old Andover, MN woman reported her car was broken into around 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 23, when she was parked by the Lake Harriet Bandshell.
A 50-year old Burnsville man reported his ex-wife unfairly put his name on her house's gas bill. The man's ex-wife lives in Windom.
