Linden Hills Dog Party Hits This Weekend

Thousands of dog lovers and their dogs are expected.

Hold on to your hats, Linden Hills, and lock the milk bones away—you're about to get invaded by around 3,500 dog lovers, and their dogs.

This Saturday, the Linden Hills Business Association is kicking off their eighth-annual Woofstock celebration. The event will take place 43rd Street between Upton Avenue South and Vincent Avenue South, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is free to all.

Dogs and their people will have an oportunity to stroll the business district at 43rd and Upton, taking advantage of discounts at neighborhood merchants and enjoying the Woofstock Love-In Exhibition, with 40+ booths full of Fido needs—from grooming, rescuing, and treats to clothing, walking, and boarding. Other events include live music, a children’s jumper, book reading withtherapy dogs, dog yoga, and a scavenger hunt. The day ends with the annual dog trick contests.

Woofstock 2012 is presented by Pampered Pooch Playground, Bubbly Paws Self-Service Dog Wash, SidewalkDog.com, and Minnesota Parent Magazine.

“We are thrilled to be hosting this event for an eighth year,” said Anne Schultz, owner of Linden Hills Florist and Linden Hills Business Association Co-Chair. “There is a decidedly dog-friendly spirit tour community and we love the way dogs add character to our neighborhood and make all of us better humans.”

Yes, Jim. Woofstock has been going on in Linden Hills for eight years now.

To those who think the 9/11 concert “good in the first year, but now it is just a PUBLICITY STUNT, and a place where people show FAKE Patriotism, and as an excuse to have a concert” “I knew people who died in 9 11, and I (like most others) find the 9 11 show distasteful. It is an insult to the victims of 9 11, it is an insult to our brave fireman, police, and our armed forces.”
“The 9/11 circus and a freak show, most attendees are 70 years old and up (they bus them in from retirement homes), and the rest looks like a freak show, strange outfits (1776 outfits etc), acting goofy. “

Is The Minnesota 9/11 Tribute at Lake Harriet Band Shell in Minneapolis Minnesota is really a Masons Secret society from the Masonic Lodge and Tea Party event.
I knew something was wrong when I saw so many Tea Party people there with their Tea Party props, and Masons flashing their secret signs and handshakes.
Then when I saw people dressed up in 1776 Military uniforms, I knew that this wasn’t a tribute to 9/11 victims. They call themselves” Heroes of '76”, Heroes of '76 unit of Minnesota Chapter #25, National Sojourners is an organization of Freemasons.
Bob Bayers from Bayers Do it Best Hardware in Linden Hills was the person who started this event, and also holds a high rank as a member of Masons Secret society and the Masonic Lodge. Grand Lodge of Masons in Minnesota, Lake Harriet Masonic Lodge along with Bob Bayers are the main contributors to this event

Jim, James is correct “ Woofstock has been going on in Linden Hills for eight years now.” I have gone every year with my dog and it is a fun time.

But I can see why you are concerned if events in Linden Hills or at the Band Shell at Lake Harriet are going to be as advertised.
IMHO the 9/11 tribute in Linden Hills is a bait and switch, and gives Linden Hills, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and America a bad name. I went there one year and surprised that it was a Tea party event with those Mason or Freemasons people (they operate in secrecy so you never know what they are up to or what their agenda is). The whole thing creeped me out and did not honor the victims of 9/11, the NY fire department, police and military.
Thanks for pointing out “Bob Bayers from Bayers Do it Best Hardware in Linden Hills was the person who started this event, and also holds a high rank as a member of Masons Secret society and the Masonic Lodge. Grand Lodge of Masons in Minnesota, Lake Harriet Masonic Lodge along with Bob Bayers are the main contributors to this event”
Then when I thought the 9/11 tribute could not get any more bizarre, Disturbing, Weird, and Creepier, they shot off fireworks behind the Band Shell. OMG at a 9/11 event, they shot off fireworks behind and on top of a building. This is so wrong on so many levels.

Jim, rest assured all the other events in Linden Hills and at the Lake Harriet band shell are as advertised, and are a lot of fun.

@Betty - What's with the conspiracy theory stuff? The Masons these days are a charitable fraternal organization up there with the Elks and the Shriners.

James Sanna – How can you say “The Masons these days are a charitable fraternal organization up there with the Elks and the Shriners” Yes they do charitable things but Betty is right, they are a secret society. There is a plethora of sources documenting this. Just by doing a quick look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_mason

Freemasonry is a fraternal organisation that arose from obscure origins in the late 16th to early 17th century.
While Freemasonry has often been called a "secret society", Freemasons themselves argue that it is more correct to say that it is an esoteric society, in that certain aspects are private.
Esotericism or Esoterism signifies the holding of esoteric opinions or beliefs,[1] that is, ideas preserved or understood by a small group or those specially initiated, or of rare or unusual interest. .[2] The term derives from the Greek "pertaining to the more inward", mystic. Its antonym is "exoteric".
In the early 17th century, esotericism is represented by currents such as Christian theosophy and Rosicrucianism. A century later, esoteric ideas entered various strands of Freemasonry. Later in the 18th century, as well as in the early 19th century, the diffuse movement known as Mesmerism became a major expression of esotericism. In the 19th century, esotericism is also represented by certain aspects of the philosophy, literature and science associated with Romanticism, by spiritualism, and by a notable French wave of occultism.

Freemasonry
Freemasonry and women - Since the adoption of Anderson's constitution in 1723, it has been accepted as fact by regular Masons that only men can be made Masons

Religious opposition - Although members of various faiths cite objections, certain Christian denominations have had high profile negative attitudes to Masonry, banning or discouraging their members from being Freemasons. The denomination with the longest history of objection to Freemasonry is the Roman Catholic Church. In contrast to Catholic allegations of rationalism and naturalism, Protestant objections are more likely to be based on allegations of mysticism, occultism, and even Satanism.

Secrets of the Freemasons
April 19, 2006
Having tackled the secretive Catholic conservative group Opus Dei, Dan Brown says he's writing his next book about the Freemasons.

The Freemasons say they are simply a fraternity that aims to make good men better and to support each other. Because they are essentially secret, however, groups such as the Freemasons can stir all kinds of theories

What does this all have to do with the innocent event like Woofstock? You people need to comment on the appropriate posts and get off your soap boxes. Not everything is an agenda and this is NOT about Bob Bayer and his affiliations.
Remember the Salem Witch Hunts..... Get a life!!

As far is Bob Bayers goes, we wish him the best in his retirement.

@Leah "Remember the Salem Witch Hunts" Where they Freemasons? We are talking about Freemasons not Witches. Silly rabbit. Unless you are saying the Freemasons are witches. Or the Masons control the witches, Brilliant!

also your "Get a life!!” We can't because the stonecutters control our lives. Check out the video and the "We Do" song.

"innocent event like Woofstock?” Maybe it is a Masons plot to control all the dogs of the world, have you ever thought about that?

"get off your soap boxes" if we do that, how can we warn the world? Who will call the Avengers or Superheroes to protect us?

You said “Not everything is an agenda” - We say: Or is it?

Thank You Heather for the great Simpson you tube video. Now we all know about the Freemasons, They control everything :) :) :)

@ James Sanna We are on to you too. You write a zillion articles, you are everywhere, and you control the Patch. This is way too much for one man to do, unless you are Superman!
Ha, now we all know James Sanna is really Superman. You are a reporter like Clark Kent. You seem to be everywhere and know everything. You never see James Sanna, Clark Kent, or Superman in the same place.
Superman’s other secret identity has been revealed.

Haha! Well, my great-grandmother was an Eastern Star (the Templar—er—Masons' sister society). Having some secrets up your sleeves runs in the family, you might say...

Woofstock in Linden Hills rocks. Hope to see everyone there with their dogs!
My family attends every year and loves it.

Also I love the humor in these comments
Best wishes to Bob Bayers for a happy retirement.
But I think he may be busy with the Stonecutters aka Freemasons ruling the world LOL

I also had my suspicions about James Sanna being too good to be true. Now that it has come out that he is Superman with connections Eastern Star, the Templar, Masons' sister society, Masons, Stonecutters and other secret organizations so secret no one knows about them – it all makes sense.
Since he is Superman, he probably knows all about area 51 in Nevada. Yes alien conspiracy time, isn’t Superman an alien.
Also this all comes out on Star Treks 46th Anniversary, Coincidence? I think not
Check out Googles home page – interactive New Google Doodle celebrates 'Star Trek'

Hope to see you all at Woofstock and the Greek Festival at St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church.
