The county's attorney Mike Freeman asks for citizens to help keep school safe.

Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman used this week's Hennepin Justice Minute to address school safety.

"We can't guarantee school security without [citizens'] help," Freeman says. "We'll be involved too, to make sure our schools are as safe and secure as they can be."

I believe so, yes. I'm still trying to piece together what happened, but the parents I've been able to talk to with students who had third period lunch make it sound like this was a fight between girls or between boys over something, and then their significant others stepped in....all occurring against a backdrop of the tensions that happen in a really diverse setting.
