The city will be full of Earth Day clean-up events on Saturday, all organized by the Minneapolis Park Board.
But there's only one neighborhood clean-up where you get to hang out with your local Patch editor and get free coffee and doughnuts—Kenny Park.
We'll start to clean up the park at 9:30 a.m. along with other volunteers from the Kenny neighborhood, and fan out into the neighborhood to nab any bits of trash there, too. According to a Park Board official helping coordinate the event told Patch that there would be free coffee and doughnuts, and several kid-friendly activities as well. Light cotton gloves will be provided to volunteers, but if you've got your own, bring them, too!
Join Southwest Minneapolis Patch from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Kenny Park, 1328 W 58th St, Minneapolis, MN
