I wouldn't vote for Ellison if he were the one name on the ballot. He is a do nothing Obama toady. He doesn't listen to or even care what his constituents think. We need a person in that job who actually represents this state, who actually understands what Minnesota residents want and gives a rat's patoot about us. 'nuff said.

I've spoken to Rep. Ellison numerous times - he always listens and cares and is engaging. Maybe you've never tried?

I have written him several times, his answers are usually nonsequitor. Either having little or nothing to do with what I wrote about or thanking me for my support even though I was writing to oppose his view. He is not the only "politician I have ever had contact with. I have known senators, congressmen, mayors, governors and even a couple of vice presidents. It is observation that the only opinions he cares about are what he is told to care about. He does not represent his constituents; he represents his president. Period.
